Global Methane Hub Pavilion: Public-Private Partnerships for Climate Data Collection and Monitoring

Accurate and comprehensive greenhouse gas and atmospheric measurement and monitoring is critical to evaluate mitigation strategies and progress towards climate goals. The U.S. National Strategy to Advance Greenhouse Gas Measurement, Monitoring and Information Services (GHGMMIS) highlights the value of government partnerships with the private sector and international organizations to enhance greenhouse gas measurement and monitoring in the United States and globally. This panel discussion including speakers from WMO, NOAA and Maersk will showcase how these partnerships can help achieve climate mitigation goals via resource mobilization and capacity building to enhance GHG and atmospheric monitoring.
