Maddy leads SilverLining's efforts to engage young global climate cleaders on near-term climate risk and intervention. In addition to her work with SilverLining, Maddy is a Master of Science degree candidate in Governance of Sustainability at Leiden University in The Hague, The Netherlands. Previously, she was a researcher for Scottish Communities Climate Action Network (SCCAN) and a member of the grassroots pressure group Fossil Free Glasgow on a campaign that resulted in the University of Glasgow becoming the first academic institution in Europe to divest from fossil fuels. She holds a First Class Honours degree in Geography (BSc) from the University of Glasgow.
